Our CIT program is a volunteer based training program for 16-17 yr olds who are interested in learning what it takes to be a camp counselor.

CITs volunteer at Sapling, Oak, or Earth Heroes camps. They serve as a role model for the campers, receive direct support and mentorship from our experienced staff, and learn both technical and transferable skills in the education and outdoor recreation fields. If all goes well, they can receive a stellar reference from us and are invited to apply as a counselor once they turn 18.
